55th Wedding Anniversary Card

Mum and day were married in 1959 on 6th June.  A few years later they decided to leave their families back in a small village in Macedonia to come to the lucky country - Australia.  Dad came out here with one of his brothers in 1962.  Mum and I (as a 3 year old) came soon after in 1964.

To this day, at ages 76 (dad, almost 77) and 73 (mum), they are still hard at work.  They retired over 20 years ago and have been busier than when they worked in factories.  Their determination, pride, dedication and work ethics and family values have been instilled in us and I am very grateful.

Congratulations to my mum and dad - peace, love and happiness and good health always xx

I made this card for my parents 55th Wedding Anniversary.  Its on cardstock, a melony colour, a pale green and vanilla white.  I decided to try my hand at doing a whole card with dangles and fancy lettering.

It looks much nicer in real - for a bit of bling I added some orange, green and silver gems.

I think I will add this to day 7 of 'create every day in June'.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a lovely weekend.
