Not too happy with this entry - The Diva challenged us to use 'Auraknot with Mooka'. I probably wouldn't use these two combinations and I'm actually not a big fan of Mooka either (think cause I can't do it) haha
Lots of white space here - this is A4 in size and I think I should have just drawn on a tile. I wanted to use a larger size paper knowing that Mooka needed space but I really should have made them plump - it didn't pan out that way - whaddya do :) I think I will add some background tangles at a later date. thank you for stopping by.
I really like this. The 3D effect on the Mooka is brilliant and I like the way you have used auraknot in different ways. I also have trouble with both of these patterns but I think you've cracked it here.
ReplyDeleteThis is great - love your stripey Mooka and that rounded Auraknot at the top is especially great - I want to try one like that now!
ReplyDeleteThs is quirky and fun. It's a bit different from your "normal" work, but the composition and all the elements work for me! If you lined this up with your other work you might discover that you love the way it stands out.
ReplyDeleteFun way to do the Mooka!
ReplyDeleteYour Mookas are awesome, Lila. Your skillful use of the shimmer has them dancing right off the page. A wonderful morph of those cute little guys. I also love your round AuraKnot. I like the entire tile.
ReplyDeleteGood work.
That rounded Auraknot is wonderful as is the stripped effect on the Mooka. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteLila, I like all your quirky shapes, it's fun!
ReplyDeleteYour Mooka variation adds character to the piece. I like it.
ReplyDeleteVery clever and imaginative interpretation of Mooka - I like it!
