This week we have use my tangle - Camelia by fellow Australian Anne Marks from Precious Worker
It's a lovely tangle, one I have used a few times so this challenge gave me an opportunity to study it a little more. I wanted this piece to not be so structured so I used Tangle Patterns String #102 which by coincidence was also created by Anne.
So, a double whammy, in a good way - thank you Anne, Laura from http://iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com.au/ and Linda from http://tanglepatterns.com/
The ZIA below started off being this week's entry - you may be able to see the string also #102 but somehow it didn't eventuate - so in my usual way I went with the flow, can you see a young lady?
I'd also like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you for all the visits and comments - I'm so sorry sometimes life gets in the way and I run out of time to visit everyone's blogs.
Have a lovely week :)
They're both really lovely but the second one is my favorite. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are both super, I like the way you have done Camelia on the cream background.
ReplyDeleteBoth are very creative. Like the delicateness of the UMT ZIA. Nice shading.

ReplyDeleteThe second is my favorite! ;o)
Best wishes and nice evening * Manja *
I love what you did with Carmelia!
ReplyDeleteAnd what a great thing, making a zia and then adding just one line, being an eyelash and all of a sudden it's a face. Love it.
Both are wonderful! Your Camelia is so lovely and delicate. Your Zia is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love both of your pieces. The swirliness of the Camelia piece is great!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pieces, Lila. I can't see the young lady - she is hiding from me.
ReplyDeleteLila, brilliant tiles, both.
