Still having troubles with Blogger - can only upload via Flickr - I have posted step by step pics of this piece on Flickr too, for the same reason.

Step by Step pattern 'X'

was trying to work out a simpler way of drawing my pattern 'X'

what I discovered was it does not have to be in the round and I think it lends itself beautifully to squares or rectangles.


For me, the most difficult part was the shading!! grrr!! :))
