Weekly Challenge #139: UMT vXXI "8s Parte Dos" by Jane Eileen

It's been quite a while since I've participated in the weekly challenge with the Diva.  I'm on holiday and this week has been quiet and relaxing, so what better time than to do some tangling :)

This week is a UMT (Use My Tangle) called '8's Parte Dos' by Jane Eileen.  It's a bit tricky and I was ever so careful not to make a mistake, but somehow I did 2 joins incorrectly but I'm not one to start all over again - I like to work with what I have - so I changed it somewhat and joined the whole middle piece 'incorrectly' and hey a lovely pattern emerged.  What do you think?

In the top section I managed to use the tangle as close as possible to Jane's.  I added some flowers in the middle because I was in a flowery mood.

On the bottom I used one of Sandra Strait's patterns (sorry I cannot recall the name, its the swirly one) and added some Cayke and a few others such as Warts and Wobbles.

I'm having trouble with shading as the paper I am using seems to be very smooth but hey, it is what it is :)

Unfinished Business

I have several pieces that I had started over a month ago and only now finding time to get back to them.  This is one I worked on tonight.  There are two versions, the one in colour is edited.  Hope to get back to the others soon :)
