Maddie
Step out to Maddie.
A pattern I came up with while talking on the phone at work.
It's fairly simple pattern with loads of potential for embellishments.
I haven't tried it in a grid and I'm sure it would work.
I have however tried it in a bit of an organic way, which also works.
Shading will give it dimension and depth.
I do hope you like it enough to try it.

Weekly Challenge #107 New Official Tangle Quandry
When I read about the new official tangle 'Quandry' and how it was similar to Tripoli, I thought, I'm in trouble as I just can't seem to get Tripoli right. I did watch the how to video by Ellen Wolters, but, me being me, I don't like using pencil so I went all in freestyle.
I'm happy with the result and hope you like it too :)
thanks for looking and of course comments are always welcome.

asian influence
Black permanent ink - then tangled in red gel pen - inspired by Madeleine de Kemp (MakeArtBeHappy)
I see several things here, and it was always going to be in red and black and to my surprise, smack bang in the middle is an Asian man wearing a cap, and where I added my signature, now looks like a hand :)
thank you for looking, comments most welcome :)

Weekly challenge No. 106 The Year of the Snake - 2013
Here is my interpretation for this week's challenge with the Diva (iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com.au/ )
I don't like snakes, so this is the closest thing I could think of, that would still work for the challenge and not give me the shivers :) Can you see '2013'?
thanks for looking:)

Love
Whilst waiting at the checkout this afternoon, I saw a food magazine with a yummy cake on the cover. The cake had the word 'Love' dusted in chocolate powder - not only that, the mag came with a stencil so you could make the cake yourself.
I had other ideas; this is one of them.
As you can see, I've used various tangles here :)
Thank you for viewing - comments are always welcome :))

This week Erin ( www.thebrightowl.com ) has asked that we fill the template with one/some of our favourite tangles, the ones that make us 'the artists that we are.
I love Nzeppel, its one of my go to patterns and I've combined it with another fave Florez. I call the middle bit fillers because many times I like to fill spaces with a leafy pattern and add some interest to it.
Thank you for looking - comments are most welcome.
P.s I'm still trying to keep up with my replies and will get to them shortly :)

Weekly Challenge #105
It took me a while to decide how to start this challenge. I started with a 'Dansk', but then what, I needed to put my spin onto it. I've always liked 'warts and wobbles, and wanted to add 'Florz' somewhere....it worked out well as I had some white space in the centre so the 'Florz' was the connecting pattern.
